Actor Alec Baldwin, who shot the gun that killed a woman on the “Rust” set, and his wife, were seen pulled over by police in the Hamptons on Saturday, two days after a warrant had been issued to access Baldwin’s phone records.

Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, denied that they were pulled over and claimed that she was only speaking with an officer after a run-in with the paparazzi. She took to Instagram to explain her side of the story.

“THIS IS NOT TRUE AND A LIE,” Hilaria wrote in her caption. “...The ny post will come after me more for speaking out, this might make it even worse, but, as I said before, I won’t be silent while you cause harm.”

“I deserve to be treated well, my husband deserves to be treated well," she added. Baldwin’s wife also claimed in the post that she and her family are “enemies of the free press.”

There is no information recorded on the exact reason why the couple was pulled over on Saturday.

On Friday, when the warrant was issued, Baldwin and Hilaria were also confronted by reporters.

Information on Baldwin’s investigation has been heating up as there were messages found in his phone that prove Baldwin had requested “a bigger gun,” to be on set for “Rust.”

Following the release of this information, Baldwin took to Twitter to deny the “bigger-gun” claim, saying that the message found was “a lie,” according to officials.

Anatoly Androsovych, the father of Halyna Hutchins, the woman killed on the “Rust” set, recently said in an interview with the Sun that he believes Baldwin is at least “partially responsible” for his daughter’s death. He had originally said that he believed that it could have been the prop department’s fault.

“Why did he fire the shot during the preparations? The revolver is the type of gun which doesn’t shoot before the trigger is pressed and Alec is partially guilty for causing that shot,” Androsovych said during the interview.

“It is clear to me Baldwin fired the shot from his hand so it’s hard for me to understand how he cannot be held partly responsible for my daughter’s death,” he added.
