  • A rep for Alex Rodriguez denied reports claiming he reached out to Madison LeCroy after his split from Jennifer Lopez
  • LeCroy did not confirm or deny the rumor but only said she wished Rodriguez well
  • The "Southern Charm" star also said that she wants to put the rumors involving her and Rodriguez behind them

Alex Rodriguez never got in touch with Madison LeCroy after he and Jennifer Lopez ended their engagement, his rep has said.

On Friday, a rep for the retired MLB player, Ron Berkowitz, addressed the reports that Rodriguez has contacted the "Southern Charm" star, who was romantically linked to him before his breakup with Lopez, since he and the pop diva announced their split in April.

"I’m not sure who’s looking to benefit from these types of rumors and false stories. They are factually incorrect," Rodriguez's rep said in a statement to multiple outlets, including Us Weekly and E! News.

"Alex is busy concentrating on his businesses and his family," he added.

This comes after a report from The Sun published Thursday quoted an unnamed insider as saying that the retired MLB star "reached out" to the "Southern Charm" star and wanted to meet up with her at the recent PGA Championship in South Carolina. LeCroy "always rolled her eyes and ignored him" and is "completely over it," the source told the outlet.

Meanwhile, Page Six reached out to LeCroy regarding the claims of the Sun report. The reality star did not directly confirm or deny the claims but told the outlet, "As I mentioned before, I wish him well and happy to put this in my past."

An anonymous source also told Us Weekly that the rumors that Rodriguez got in touch with the Bravo star in the past weeks were false. However, the insider claimed that his team "reached out" to her after his split from Lopez.

Earlier this year, LeCroy confirmed to Page Six that Rodriguez was the athlete Craig Conover claimed she "flew to Miami to f--k" during her rocky relationship with Austen Kroll. Conover made the claim during the "Southern Charm" Season 7 reunion, but the athlete's name was bleeped.

"He contacted me. And yes, we DMed," she said on the episode. "But other than that, there was nothing. I’ve never physically seen him, touched him. I am not a f—king liar and I will stand up for that."

LeCroy doubled down on this claim during an interview with Page Six. She told the outlet in February that she and Rodriguez "never met up," though they’ve "spoken on the phone."

"That’s the truth," she said, adding they’ve "never been physical … never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance."

An anonymous person close to Rodriguez then said that the former MLB star didn't know LeCroy.

"He doesn’t know this woman," the anonymous source told the New York Post shortly after her Page Six interview. "Look, does this mean he didn’t DM her and liked a photo or two? I guess not, but he doesn’t know her — and he definitely didn’t hook up with her."

Meanwhile, Rodriguez recently said he was moving on and was entering a “new beginning” on the same day Lopez was photographed in Miami with Ben Affleck.

"I am about to step into a new beginning in my life. Anything that doesn't serve me is clearly out of my life," the former MLB star wrote on his Instagram Story. "New energy is emerging. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically, and spiritually."
