Alexandra Daddario shared how she took inspiration from Meghan Markle for her wedding look.

The "White Lotus" star told People that her "something blue" for her wedding to film producer Andrew Form at New Orleans' iconic Preservation Hall in late June was inspired by the Duchess of Sussex.

"I'm obsessed with Meghan Markle," said Daddario, who wore a Danielle Frankel dress for her nuptials. "She wore an aquamarine ring I believe from Princess Diana's collection. Mine was less fancy, but I had a large blue, aquamarine ring copying Meghan Markle."

Markle wore Princess Diana's aquamarine ring to the evening reception of her 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. The late Princess of Wales wore the emerald-cut ring to a gala dinner in Australia in 1996 and to an auction of her own clothes at Christie’s in 1997, according to People.

When it came to choosing her wedding dress, the "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" actress told the magazine that she was "open to anything." She confessed that she was not the type who had been planning her wedding for years and knew exactly what she was going to wear to the big day.

"I don't like to overthink things, I like to just go with my instincts. I don't want to obsess over clothes too much. I like to just put them on," she explained.

According to Daddario, she tried on a few dresses by Frankel before finding the one she wanted to wear on her special day.

"I think it was the third dress I tried on, and I was like 'I love it!' I think I tried on one other after that, and they were all great, but this one I just knew. It felt like New Orleans, it felt comfortable and it just was a really perfect fit," she added. "It was just one of those things, like girls know when you put on the perfect dress. For me, once I put it on and I knew, I didn't want to go and try on a million other things."

The "Baywatch" star noted that wedding dress shopping felt like "a red carpet dress try on."

In the end, Daddario chose a pleated silk wool gown by Frankel called the Scarlet, which retailed for $9,990. The dress featured lace appliqués, spaghetti straps and a tulle train.

Form, for his part, opted for a Brunello Cucinelli pinstripe ensemble, which Daddario called a "beautiful, not-too-serious" suit.

In an interview with Vogue, she explained why she decided to turn to Frankel for her wedding dress.

"I fell in love with Danielle Frankel's dresses," she told the fashion magazine. "I followed them on Instagram. They sent me a message, and we chatted, and when I went to their studio, I just felt beautiful in everything. I chose my dress because it felt like it belonged in New Orleans and was the right choice for the Louisiana heat."

Daddario told People that her wedding dress is in her home in New Orleans, where she is currently working on a project.
