Michael Plumadore, the babysitter charged with the murder of Aliahna Lemmon, who disappeared from an Indiana trailer park last week, admitted to beating the nine-year-old girl to death with a brick, dismembering her with a hacksaw, stuffing her limbs into freezer bags and hiding body parts at his trailer and at a nearby business, according to reports.

Allen County sheriff's investigators affidavit states that Plumadore, 39, admitted to killing Aliahna on Dec. 22. Plumadore went before the court Tuesday morning for an initial hearing and is being held without bail or bond.

Aliahna and her two sisters had been staying in Fort Wayne's Northway mobile home park with Plumadore because their mother was sick. The Lemmon's considered him a neighbor and family friend. Northway contains 15 registered sex offenders, according to the state Web site, but Plumadore is not on the list.

Plumadore does have a criminal record in North Carolina and Florida, though, which, according to The Associated Press, includes trespassing and assault convictions.

Plumadore's next hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Dec. 30, according to ABCNews.com.

Reports say that police obtained a warrant to search Plumadore's trailer on Monday and found Aliahna's body that same night. Coincidentally, the discovery came the same day that police announced that the FBI had joined the investigation and a candlelight vigil was being held for Aliahna in Fort Wayne.

Plumadore reported Lemmon missing on Friday night, saying to police that he last saw her early Friday morning, and when he first realized that Lemmon was no longer with him in his trailer, he assumed that she went back home to her mother.

ABCNews.com reports that Plumadore was arrested after his third interview with police.
