It was a heartbreaking day for Bobby Brown and his family as they said goodbye to his 22-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Saturday afternoon. But unfortunately for Brown, his emotional day didn’t end there. The rhythm-and-blues singer’s wife and manager, Alicia Etheredge, was reportedly rushed to a hospital after suffering a seizure that evening.

TMZ broke the news that Etheredge, 41, was admitted to an Atlanta-area hospital Saturday night, a few hours after Bobbi Kristina’s funeral. Etheredge was reportedly at a hotel with other members of the Brown family when the incident occurred. Despite the scare, she was reportedly able to “walk inside with little help” when she arrived at the hospital. The family has not commented on the seizure report.

This is not Etheredge’s first seizure. In September 2012, Brown’s wife was hospitalized in Florida after suffering from a seizure in her hotel room. The couple was in Kissimmee, where Brown was to perform with his group, New Edition. A source told People magazine that the seizure was “brought on by diabetes,” which was diagnosed when Etheredge was pregnant with her son Cassius in 2009.

Etheredge gave birth to her second child with Brown, daughter Bodhi, in early July. Just a few weeks later, Brown’s only daughter with ex-wife Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, died after being hospitalized since Jan. 31. The funeral Saturday was reportedly tense, with the Brown family butting heads with the Houston family.
