“American Horror Story” fans are going to have to wait a little bit longer to catch a glimpse of filming for Season 5, “Hotel.” Cast member Denis O’Hare clarified on Twitter that shooting hasn’t started yet.

Hype for the upcoming installment of the FX mini-series spiked over the weekend when O’Hare, who spent a couple days in Italy, posted on the social media site that he’d be returning to the U.S. to “start work on AHS-Hotel on Monday.” Fans assumed that “start work” meant that production was beginning on Season 5. However, the 53-year-old actor revealed on Tuesday that that wasn’t the case.

“Back in LA,” he tweeted. “Starting my character research. Some, um, body-work. Sometimes work means other things … not actually shooting yet. My bad.”

What could “body-work” mean? While the first thing that comes to mind is body building – like Michael Chiklis’ strong man character in Season 4 – O’Hare could be hinting at something a little more gruesome. In previous seasons the actor has played a disfigured burn victim, a creepy and silent butler with a doll fetish, and most recently a well-endowed con artist. Could a coroner, mortician or serial killer be next? “American Horror Story” fans will have to wait and see!

Season 5, “Hotel,” is set to film in Los Angeles on the Fox lot where the FX series is building a six-story hotel. Series co-creator Ryan Murphy revealed in March at PaleyFest that the cast is expected to begin shooting in August.
