Carrie Underwood is coming back to the stage that launched her music career. Fox announced that the “Heartbeat” singer will perform during the “American Idol” Season 15 finale in two weeks.

Underwood — who won Season 4 in 2005 — commented on her “Idol” return, posting a picture to Instagram of her standing in front of the building where she auditioned for the show many years ago. “Here for a show tonight in St. Louis,” Underwood, who’s on her The Storyteller Tour, captioned the photo. “Where it all started for me! This is where I auditioned for #AmericanIdol I’m so excited to perform on the series finale on 4/7!!!”

According to Billboard, a slew of other “Idol” alums will be performing on the 2016 finale in group performances and solos. Among those returning are Ruben Studdard, Fantasia, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Scotty McCreary, Candice Glover, Chris Daughtry, Clay Aiken, Clark Beckham, Jessica Sanchez, Justin Guarini, Katharine McPhee, Kree Harrison, Kellie Pickler and Pia Toscano. Season 14 winner Nick Fradiani and Season 1 winner Kelly Clarkson will also return. However, due to Clarkson being so close to her due date, the “Piece by Piece” singer had to pre-tape her performance, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Underwood, who went on to lead a very successful career after winning “American Idol, opened up about the show ending, telling InStyle that it was “bittersweet.”

“Fifteen seasons, 15 years is an incredible amount of time for any television show to be running that successfully. So I feel like they should all be so, so, so proud,” she said in November. “And I of course am thankful for that show because I wouldn’t be standing here without it … It’s changed the music industry, changed the entertainment world and I’m beyond grateful for it.”
