The Season 14 finale of Fox's "American Idol" aired Wednesday night. In the end, Nick Fradiani, of Guilford, Connecticut, emerged as this season's champion. What follows is a recap of the final episode of the show's next-to-last season.

During Tuesday's show, Fradiani and Clark Beckham sang three songs each. Then on Wednesday, several guest musicians performed. They included Vance Joy, Echosmith, Nile Rodgers, Ricky Martin, New Kids on the Block and Jamie Foxx. Plus, former “American Idol” judge and Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler performed with "American Idol XIV" Top 3 finalist Jax on the judges’ table.

Of course, the “AI” judges -- Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr. -- also performed. J.Lo sang Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” while Connick played piano and Urban played guitar. Urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman, was seen in the audience.

Below is a list of the songs that Fradiani and Beckham performed Tuesday. These songs helped viewers select the champion.
