Chlöe unleashed her inner fangirl and snapped a selfie with Artist of the Year winner, BTS at the red carpet of the American Music Awards held on Nov. 21.

Also known as Chloe Bailey from the musical duo, Chloe x Halle, the “Do It” singer told People on the red carpet of the AMAs that she is looking forward to her performance in the event but she is most excited about meeting the famous K-pop stars.

"I'm just happy to be here amongst all these incredible performers and entertainers and I hope to meet BTS tonight, I love them so much," she said.

Asked what she would tell the septet if she meets them, she replied, “I love them and they are the most amazing performers and everything they're doing is incredible."

"I'm such a fan," she continued.

The singer delivered her debut performance on stage with her hit song, "Have Mercy." Later, the 23-year-old pop/R&B singer got her wish and snapped a couple of red carpet selfies with BTS members Jin, 28, Suga, 28, Jungkook, 24, RM 27, Jimin, 26, J-Hope, 27, and V, 25.

"Can you see how happy I am," she captioned her post and added two crying emojis.

BTS was a huge during the event, taking three trophies from the AMAs including Favorite pop duo or group, Favorite pop song for “Butter” and Artist of the Year.

Twitter user @Jeonluscious shared a clip of BTS leader RM delivering a speech after the group accepted the Artist of the Year award amid screaming BTS fans, also called ARMY.

“I seriously forgot what I wanna say,” RM began.

“Thank you AMAs and we’re truly honored to be on this stage with such amazing tremendous artists right over here. We’re so honored. Thanks for that,” he added as he pushed back tears in the middle of the speech.

“Four years ago, we had debuts for first time ever…live performance on this stage. We were too excited and nervous that time. It’s been a long and amazing ride since then but nobody could ever bet on the [awesome] standing here receiving this award,” he concluded.

BTS also accepted their award for Favorite pop song for “Butter” after their performance with Coldplay for their collaboration track, “My Universe.”

“Borahae (a coined term by V which means 'I love you’). Special thanks [to] us. We hope it made you feel like ‘Smooth like Butter,’” Jungkook said.
