'Among Us' Airship Map 2021 Update: All Confirmed Rooms; New Feature Added

Innersloth announced a new feature it launched in the game recently and while it has not yet revealed the release date of the Airship Map in "Among Us," here are all the confirmed rooms players would see when the new map becomes available.

All Confirmed "Among Us" Airship Rooms

When Innersloth released the trailer of the "Among Us" Airship map at The Game Awards last year, fans caught several maps that they would soon explore. There are the obvious Viewing Deck and the Cockpit as well as other locations like the Meeting Room, Lounge and Armory. Some rooms also received a new tweak in their names.

The MedBay room in previous "Among Us" maps is now called the Airship's Medical in the upcoming map. Other rooms confirmed available in the Airship map include Records, Left and Right Gap Room, Kitchen, Engine Room, Electrical, Brig, Armory and Showers. Players should also expect some new and returning tasks in the upcoming expansion.

New "Among Us" Feature

A few days ago, the game developer shared that it rolled out a new feature called Quickchat update on its official Twitter account. The said feature was introduced via update 2021.2.21 and is immediately available after players download and install it. The new Quickchat feature is something that a lot of players have long been requesting.

Over the past months, players have complained about the in-game chat, which some find awkward to use and could waste time, particularly for those playing the game on mobile devices. Innersloth describes the Quickchat feature as a much "easier, faster, and safer option to play." The announcement already received a lot of praise and appreciation from users.

Aside from this, the game developer also hinted at more substantial updates rolling out in "Among Us" soon. The new Quickchat feature is available on all platforms where the game is playable. In other words, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOs and Android users can enjoy this new functionality as soon as they install the new patch. As for the release date of the Airship map, unfortunately, nothing was mentioned.
