Amy Winehouse's dad Mitch, 60, handed out the singer's clothes, jewelry, and trinkets outside of her Camden flat Thursday. Mitch Winehouse distributed some of her clothes in the street. He said, "These are Amy's T-shirts. This is what she would have wanted - for her fans to have her clothes."

London Ambulance Service received a call at 3.54pm. When they arrived there, the woman was already dead. A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said, "Sadly the patient had died."

Shortly after news got out, close friend 26-year-old Kelly Osborne tweeted, "I can't even breathe right now. I'm crying so hard." She added, "I just lost one of my best friends. I love you forever Amy and will never forget the real you!"

The 27-year-old's cause of death is not yet known.

Like many young women, Winehouse suffered from alcohol and drug addiction and mental health issues. She wanted to be skinny and beautiful. And she was. Sadly, she did not know it.

In a eulogy at the July 26 funeral, Mitch said, her father's eulogy ended with the final words "Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much."

People continue to gather around her home, leaving flowers and seemingly saying, "We should remember Amy Winehouse for more than going to rehab."

Winehouse's 35-year-old boyfriend Reg Traviss, grandfather, and manager were also at her house Thursday.

The family will keep her guitar and notebooks.
