KEY POINTS

  • Angelina Jolie had coffee with Paul Mescal in London over the weekend
  • The two stars were joined by the actress' 16-year-old daughter, Shiloh
  • The Oscar winner and her daughter watched Mescal's West End play

Angelina Jolie was photographed with Paul Mescal amid the latter's alleged split from singer Phoebe Bridgers.

Over the weekend, the "Maleficent" actress, 47, was snapped having coffee with the "Normal People" alum, 26, at the Almeida Cafe & Bar in London.

Exclusive photos released by Daily Mail Tuesday showed Jolie and Mescal engrossed in conversation while surrounded by empty tables. Also spotted in the snaps was Shiloh, the actress' 16-year-old daughter with ex-husband Brad Pitt.

Their sighting came after Mescal's performance in the play "A Streetcar Named Desire," which Jolie watched with her daughter. The Oscar winner donned a black trench coat, while Shiloh sported a jacket and beanie hat when they were spotted with Mescal after the show.

The Irish actor is reportedly in a relationship with Bridgers, 28. They started dating in 2020. However, the pair recently sparked split rumors after the "Kyoto" singer talked about getting over a "heartbreak" when she appeared on Amelia Dimoldenberg's "Chicken Shop Date" YouTube series, according to Us Weekly.

"You just have to do it. And it's gonna end at some point but you can't make it end — that's my tip," she said on the show.

Page Six reached out to the reps for Jolie and Mescal, but they did not immediately respond. Nevertheless, the tabloid said the two only seemingly had a friendly hangout.

Jolie's sighting with Mescal came weeks after she stepped down as an ambassador for the United Nations refugee agency after serving for more than 20 years.

The UN high commissioner for refugees, Filippo Grandi, released a statement on the "Salt" star's decision, saying, "Angelina Jolie has been an important humanitarian partner of UNHCR for very long. We are grateful for her decades of service, her commitment, and the difference she has made for refugees and people forced to flee."

He continued, "After a long and successful time with UNHCR, I appreciate her desire to shift her engagement and support her decision. I know the refugee cause will remain close to her heart, and I am certain she will bring the same passion and attention to a wider humanitarian portfolio. I look forward to our continued friendship."
