The Pittsburgh Steelers might be almost done hearing what teams have to offer for Antonio Brown. The latest report indicates that the wide receiver could soon be traded as several teams around the league have inquired about making a deal for the veteran.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Pittsburgh is telling suitors to make their best offers now. The Steelers seem ready to move on from the 30-year-old by March 13 when players can officially be traded. Doing so would allow Pittsburgh to avoid paying Brown a $2.5 million roster bonus, which kicks in on March 17.

There have been various reports regarding which teams are real players for Brown. The Oakland Raiders have been consistently mentioned in trade rumors. They are a fitting destination with nearly $70 million to spend under the salary cap and a need for a No.1 receiver.

Oakland has been given the best betting odds to acquire Brown.

The Washington Redskins have been linked to Brown, though making a trade could be difficult because of their cap situation. The Tennessee Titans are reportedly in the mix.

The New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals have reportedly dropped out of the race for Brown. There hasn’t been much buzz about the San Francisco 49ers trading for Brown since the receiver indicated he might want to play in the Bay Area a few weeks ago.

Brown has a $12.625 million base salary for the 2019 NFL season, and trading him will give the Steelers more than $21 million in dead money against the cap.

Brown made his sixth straight Pro Bowl in 2018 after being a First-Team All-Pro selection in four straight years.
