Unless you’re a gamer who has been living under a rock for the last month, you’ve probably heard something about “Apex Legends” and how it has skyrocketed in popularity since its release. The free-to-play battle royale has already outperformed “Fortnite” in first-week downloads and is currently the most popular game on Twitch. And if new data-mined information is to be believed, there’s plenty more in store for players to come.

According to Comicbook.com, data miners have pulled files that indicate several additions planned for the Respawn Entertainment game. The biggest part of this is the three possible Legends found to update the current roster.

The first character is called Prophet, and the files seem to indicate an ability called PRECOG related to the character. One can assume the ability is short for precognition and would be a fitting ability for a character going by the name Prophet. How that would work in the game, though, is another question.

Next is Octane, who will be sporting stimpacks to help improve character performance. The stimpacks would likely improve movement speed, recovery, and more which, given the speed of the game already, could result in better gameplay.

The third is Wattson, who sports electric abilities and his Tesla Trap. Previous games like the “Command & Conquer: Red Alert” series used Tesla towers as a means of damaging enemy units, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility that this would operate similarly, just on a smaller, single-unit scale.

On top of that, there have been leaks of possible weapons, a ranked mode, and even more Legends that could be on the way. And if they prove to be positive additions to the game, “Apex Legends” could be around for quite a while.
