Apple sent out a press invitation on Tuesday for its Sept. 14 annual virtual launch event in which the company is expected to announce its latest iPhone.

The "California Streaming" event will be streamed on the multinational technology company’s website. It is also expected to announce new models for the Apple Watch and AirPods.

Apple typically launches its products in September but last year it pushed the event back to October due to COVID-related production delays. It has also moved to virtual launches since the pandemic hit.

During next week’s launch, Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 13, which will be similar to the iPhone 12 but with a “notch” cutout at the top of the screen, Bloomberg reported. The new smartphone could also be making larger batteries, display updates and changes to its rear-camera lenses.

Apple Watch lovers can also expect a redesign of the device’s 2015 model.

In June, Apple announced new updates to its iOS 15 that is also expected to launch in September, CNN reported. Updates will include a new do-not-disturb mode, away messages in iMessage, FaceTime screen-sharing and a driver's license and vaccine verification app support for the digital wallet.
