Amid MacBook Pro 2016 rumors, Apple’s MacBook lineup is frequently getting discounted in the U.S. This time around, the well-received Retina MacBook can be purchased with 32 percent discount for a limited period of time.

EBay is now selling the 12-inch Retina MacBook for just $949.95, whereas the listed original price is $1,399. With this deal, buyers can save $449.05. Released in early 2015, this MacBook variant comes equipped with 256GB native storage space and 8GB RAM configuration.

As of today, this device can be picked up in gold, gray and silver hues. Also, eBay is offering free shipping service in the U.S. with the purchase of this discounted model.

So far, 119 units of the discounted MacBook have been sold via the prominent seller Northwest Outdoor. This seller has amassed a whopping 98.8 percent positive rating on eBay.

Moving on to key specifications, the 12-inch LED-backlit IPS Retina display clad MacBook is complemented by 2,304 x 1,440 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, it comes powered by a fifth-generation, dual-core (Intel Core M3) processor, running at 1.1 GHz.

On the software front, Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite apparently runs this 12-inch MacBook variant out of the box. This device supports 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a slew of ports like USB 3.1, USB C and display port interfaces.

Ebay says the housed battery unit will be able to provide up to 9 hours of battery life after a full recharge, or up to 10 hours of iTunes movie playback. Camera-wise, there is a FaceTime HD shooter mounted on the device.

The 12-inch Retina MacBook comes with a standard notebook keyboard with an all-new Force Touch trackpad. The advanced trackpad helps in getting “precise cursor control” and it enables pressure-sensitive “force clicks, accelerators, drawing and Multi-Touch gestures.”
