The still too-close-to-call Presidential election might be looming over everything, but some consumers looking forward to the holiday season haven’t forgotten that Nov. 4 is also a very special day—the day that Aldi stores unveiled a large portion of their line of Advent Calendars.

The company, which brings discounted groceries to customers, is known for its line of Advent Calendars each year, featuring different foods, beverages and treats to help families count down to Christmas—without having to spend serious cash. Now, with the election also bringing more uncertainty to a year where consumers have grown weary due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many have turned their focus to the calendars and making sure they get their hands on them.

Several seeking the wine and cheese calendars, in particular, took to social media to share that they were in line—and they weren’t the only ones.

Others took to social media to share that they had missed out, though others were happy to share that they had scored a few different calendar options.

The calendars available now—which include the Merry & Bright Wine Calendar, Beer Calendar, Vista Bay Hard Seltzer Calendar, Emporium Selection Advent Cheese Calendar, Barrisimo Coffee Advent Calendar and Bee Happy Craft Calendar, range in price from $1.39 for the Choceur Advent Calendar up to $69.99 for the wine one. Not all are available at each store location.

Those who miss out on the initial round may not be entirely out of luck however if they’re just seeking advent calendars in general and have no preference on which one they get.

According to the store’s website, the Huntington Home Scents of the Season Candle Set, My Beauty pot 12 Days of Bath Fizzers, My Beauty Spot 12 Days of Glowing Skin, Moser Roth 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar and O'Donnell's 12 Days of Irish Cream Calendar will all be available beginning on Nov. 25, while the Sparkling Wine Countdown to the New Year calendar will be available on Dec. 2.
