“Arrow” Season 4 will feature plenty of changes, including a new suit. Stephen Amell gave the Green Arrow’s new uniform its debut at San Diego Comic-Con Saturday.

Amell came onstage as his character Oliver Queen at the San Diego Convention Center to kick off the Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment special panel in his new costume.

“I lost people forever,” he said. “The person that I was and the persona that I created failed. But Star City -- not Starling City, Star City -- still needs heroes. … All of you have come with us this far, and I would ask you to come just a little bit further with the Green Arrow.”

It appears “Arrow” Season 4 will focus on Oliver’s evolution. “We’ve always said the progression for Oliver is from Arrow to Green Arrow, and this is the next step,” executive producer Greg Berlanti said, according to Newsarama.

The new costume shows a little more skin than before. Oliver’s biceps will be on display, but other parts of the outfit seem to have heavier armor around his shoulders and forearms. Of course, one thing that didn’t change was the green color.

The outfit is the latest creation from “Arrow” costume designer Maya Mani, and at this point, she knows how to make a superhero costume. She previously created the looks for Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Atom (Brandon Routh), Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) and Speedy (Willa Holland).

While the costume is exciting, some fans are wondering where exactly he’ll wear it. He and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) hit the road in the Season 3 finale, and it appeared as though they didn’t plan on returning for a long time. Amell teased that something would bring them home eventually. “We go, we vacation, we land in a spot that is not Starling City,” he told IGN. “We have established a nice, relatively domesticated life by ‘Arrow’ standards, but there are problems in the city.”

“Arrow” Season 4 premieres on the CW Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 8 p.m. EDT.
