The Pussycat Dolls’ former member Ashley Roberts has responded to the rumors claiming that the band is all set to get together again. She surprisingly insisted that they are just “rumors” at this stage.

While making an appearance on “Heart Breakfast,” the 38-year-old singer shared if “someday” the reunion is going to happen, then her “heart family” and “heart listeners” will be the first to know about it.

“Woah, Woah, Woah. This is rumors. This is rumors. But I will tell you this. If someday it is happening, my heart family and my heart listeners will be the first one to know. If it is happening,” Roberts said.

When one of the co-hosts said, “No smoke without fire,” Roberts replied, “They are just rumors.”

It was recently claimed that the band’s lead singer Nicole Scherzinger along with bandmates Roberts, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, Kimberly Wyatt, and Melody Thornton reportedly signed a multimillion pound contract to get together and go on a big world tour.

According to The Sun, the band’s lead vocalist is ready for a reunion when she was told about the band’s 10-year anniversary. Apparently, she was given a huge amount in advance which made it impossible for her to turn down the offer.

“Nicole has long turned down offers for a reunion but with the 10-year anniversary of their hiatus passing, she finally said she was ready. [She] was made a multi-million pound offer to re-join the group and was given a huge advance which made it impossible for her to turn down,” a source told the outlet.

It was also reported that the band is currently in talks for recording some new music to give their fans a treat for the group’s tenth anniversary.

“The tour is going to be huge and the group will be playing their greatest hits. But there has been the talk of the possibility of them recording new music,” the source added.

Earlier this year, while appearing on “Fitzy & Wippa,” Nicole hinted at a possible reunion when she confessed that she missed touring with her ex-bandmates.

“I definitely miss touring. It was such a great time. But it was really exhausting. I would love to one day go back out so it could be a party. When I went solo after, I really enjoyed touring with my dancers and I was like ‘God I miss my girls.’ I would love for us to be able to get back out and just enjoy it,” Scherzinger said.
