‘Assassin’s Creed 3’ Gameplay Footage Released: New Unedited Demo Shows Connor Slashing Redcoats In Boston [VIDEO]
Fans were able to see some footage of Ubisoft’s upcoming “Assassin’s Creed” game at E3 2012, but it looks as if more uncut and unedited clips have surfaced. The video consists of more than five minutes of untouched gameplay from “Assassin’s Creed 3,” showing Connor in a Boston market making some dirty dealings. Ubisoft

For those who can't wait until the fall for their Assassin's Creed 3 fix, tomorrow marks an important day for new protagonist Connor and the rest of his colonial and Native American inhabitants. On July 4, Ubisoft will reveal more footage from the highly-anticipated game.

However, there has been criticism about the company being partial toward the American side of the Revolution, showing a substantial amount of footage geared toward the colonists rather than the redcoats.

Interestingly enough, on the celebrated day of American independence, GAME retailers in the United Kingdom will host showcases of Assassin's Creed 3. These include locations in Bristol Cribbs Causeway, London Oxford St., Manchester Trafford Centre, Newcastle, Nottingham and The Fort Glasgow. These will start at 9 a.m. and run through 5:30 p.m., and fans must be 18 or older to attend.

However, although there will be some new revelations made tomorrow, there are still aspects of the game that Ubisoft plans to keep quiet.

There are still several gameplay secrets, ones that Ubisoft are not prepared to share with fans until the game is launched in October, writes Peter Chubb of InEntertainment.

Some have speculated that these secrets could involve the ability to tame animals within the game and a possible third playable character, but until Ubisoft makes the announcement, there is no way to be sure. After all, the company did keep the naval combat element of the game under wraps until E3, so there could be more tidbits left for fans to ponder.

In addition to engaging gameplay, the aesthetic features of Assassin's Creed have always been a distinguishing characteristic of the franchise, which is known for its stunning visuals and historical illustrations. The third installment, set to debut on Oct. 30, will recreate the American Revolution in the story of Ezio's ancestors. Now Titan Books has announced that it will take that experience from screens to pages with its upcoming The Art of Assassin's Creed III.

Assassin's Creed is rightly considered one of the most visually exciting games, and the concept art for Assassin's Creed III is no exception, senior commissioning editor Laura Price said, according to Game Informer. The new era and the new assassin are incredibly exciting, and the sheer beauty of the art is extraordinary. Assassin's Creed III promises to be the biggest and best yet, and we're delighted to be involved.

The book will be available on Oct. 30 for $29.95 and contain 144 pages.
