"Maybe there was another way... Feelings of regret and repentance, but what is lost can never be regained," the brief summary shared by Spytrue read.

"Attack on Titan" Season 4, Episode 9 is scheduled to air Sunday. The episodes are streaming on Funimation, Hulu and Crunchyroll.

In Episode 8, Eren punches Reiner and comes out of the Titan's body. He tells Mikasa they are done and he cannot fight Reiner anymore.

Mikasa and Eren tell other fighters to retreat. Meanwhile, Gabi and Falco see them retreat and Gabi loses it. She grabs her rifle and runs after the airship, yelling, "Eren Jaeger." Falco follows her and wants her to stop because it is over. He tells her the Marleyans were the ones to attack the island first and this ambush was the revenge for it.

However, Gabi is not ready to listen and she announces that the demons of Paradis Island are a threat to the entire world.

Later, she manages to kill Lobov of Squad Lima and uses his vertical maneuvering equipment to board the airship. She is shocked to see Falco also joining her.

As soon as they enter the airship, Gabi rolls and shoots at the soldiers. The bullet hits Sasha's torso and she immediately collapses.

Sasha is struggling to breathe as a pool of blood starts to form around her body. She is bleeding out fast.

Sasha's death is a heartbreaking scene and what makes it even more painful is the new version of the background score titled "Attack On D." Connie announces Sasha's dead, the scene changes to Mikasa and Armin crying over her lifeless body. The haunting background score by Hiroyuki Sawano makes the situation grimmer.
