As ABC takes its time making its decision on who will become the next “The Bachelor” lead, Reality Steve has, once again, sounded off on his thoughts about who will become the network’s 2020 star.

Following his arrival on Season 6 of ABC’s spinoff “Bachelor in Paradise,” the blogger has revealed 31-year-old Mike Johnson still appears to stand a chance to be “The Bachelor” next year. “When Mike walked onto the beach, I think it would’ve been more appropriate if the guy just announced ‘I’m here for my Bachelor audition everyone!’” the blogger wrote on Aug. 13.

While he made it clear he hasn’t heard any official word regarding ABC’s casting decisions, he did note he thinks it will be Mike’s former co-star, Peter Weber, who will ultimately take the lead, despite Mike’s popularity among Bachelor Nation and his previous doubts about Peter being cast.

“I still think it will be Peter if you ask me today, but I’m basing that on nothing whatsoever other than I know he’s a candidate,” he wrote. The blogger added he considers the 27-year-old pilot to have a “better narrative” than Mike, saying, “They’re looking for who will make better television, not who they care about finding a wife more. But it’s all subjective.”

As for “Bachelorette” Hannah Brown’s beloved runner-up Tyler Cameron getting the job, Reality Steve said it’s possible he could still be in consideration. “I think it will be Peter, but that’s assuming Tyler is out of the running,” he explained. Reality Steve added that if Tyler doesn’t have a relationship with Hannah and model Gigi Hadid, who he has recently been seeing, by this fall, he could be “a possibility.”

“The show would be dumb not to capitalize on the most popular contestant this show has ever had,” he wrote of the 26-year-old. “The Gigi stuff may have set him back and a bit, and hey, maybe Tyler doesn’t even want to do it. Maybe he would just rather date whoever he wants rather than a hand picked 30 women from a casting department. That’s entirely possible... But if Tyler ever declared the ‘Bachelor’ was something he was interested in and would love to be in that role, there’s no doubt in my mind he’d get it. I’m just not getting much sense that he is.”

ABC is speculated to make their “The Bachelor” casting announcement within the next couple of months as the network’s current “Bachelor in Paradise” season winds down.

For now, fans can catch “Bachelor in Paradise” on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
