“The Bachelorette” fans aware of show spoilers know that it was first reported by blogger Reality Steve in May that contestant Tyler Cameron would win Hannah Brown’s season. Weeks later, he backtracked, naming her initially reported runner-up, Jed Wyatt, as her true winner of the ABC series. While Hannah may have made her choice, there were signs throughout Season 15 that Tyler was winner material. Here are nine of them:

His Introduction

The season’s first big introduction to the contestants showcased Tyler. In his scene, he revealed that he’s a 26-year-old general contractor from Jupiter, Florida. “I’m not your average contractor. I love to dance,” he said, sharing that he was two classes away from being a dance minor in college. Just minutes prior, the show featured a scene of Hannah teaching young girls in a dance class. Coincidence?

Teary-Eyed Confession

In episode 3, Tyler admitted that he wanted to call his mom after Hannah included him on a group date that was focused on child-rearing. “Woman really do run this world and they deserve so much respect,” he said. Tyler added that he considered Hannah to be a “powerful woman” who will “move mountains” and said he wanted to be the one who is “fueling her fire” to help her to do so. All the while, Hannah called his comments “sweet” and appeared teary-eyed.

Tyler Saves The Day

After dealing with the drama between the two Lukes on a group date, Hannah made it clear she was not in the right frame of mind for her first one-on-one with Tyler. That all changed when she opened up to him about how she was feeling. “There are not many people that could have made me feel comforted today. I’m thankful for you,” Hannah told Tyler later during the date.

Tyler went on to tell Hannah it wasn’t realistic to think they would always be “super chipper” and that in a relationship, they should be there to support one another. “We don’t need the best, we only need the real Hannah, and I got that today,” he said, adding, “I’ll take you any way I can get you. If I gotta pick you up, I’d be happy to pick you up.”

His Intentions

During his episode 4 one-on-one, Tyler proved he was winner material by revealing to Hannah his reason for coming on the show. After his dad suffered a severe medical emergency, Tyler said he almost pulled out of the program. During his dad's recovery though, he said they watched“The Bachelor,” and from there, he became a “huge fan” of Hannah.

“Tyler, this is your girl. You’ve got to go make the most of this opportunity,” Tyler said his dad told him.

Tyler shared that he was still unsure of his feelings being on the show until he saw Hannah for the first time outside of the Bachelor Mansion. He said seeing her “confirmed” to him he was supposed to be there. What followed was Tyler getting a date rose with Hannah telling him he had “blown” her away.

Fantasy Suite Respect

Hannah made it clear to Tyler that she was physically attracted to him but that she had no plans to have sex with him during their fantasy suite date. Her reasoning was she wanted to grow their “emotional connection” during their alone time. Tyler respected her decision and told Hannah he “would never” pressure her. As a result, Hannah told Tyler their lack of intimacy made her want him even more.

Family Meeting

Unlike Jed, Tyler won over Hannah's family during their meeting with him during part one of the finale. "I want her to be my wife. I want to be her best friend and I want to be her biggest cheerleader," he said to Hannah's mom. After noting how Tyler made her daughter "glow," she said she found Tyler to be "amazing all the way around."

When speaking to Hannah's father, he said Tyler showcased good "character" for handling the fantasy suite date the way he did and remarked that he "seems to be the real deal."

The Perfect Guy

During their final one-on-one time Tyler told Hannah what he thought their future looked like and in his vision, he saw them living happily married with kids. She had this to say in return:

I am so lucky. I feel so lucky. When I think about a life with Tyler, it’s almost like he is that perfect guy. The one that you want to introduce to everybody that you know… I know he would protect me, keep me safe and we would have the sweetest family, cutest little babies. Tyler makes me feel so special and so loved, I don’t want him to let go of me. I could see being in his arms forever.

Rejected With Grace

After Hannah dumped Tyler in the finale, just as he was proposing to her, he told her he was supportive of her and Jed's relationship.

No Skeletons

Finally, unlike Hannah's other finalists (we're looking at you Peter Weber and Jed!) Tyler was not revealed to have had a girlfriend during taping or just prior to production on "The Bachelorette."
