Casey Woods, who fainted during the show "Bachelor in Paradise" four months ago, says he is still unable to walk and it makes him really sad. However, he is glad that he didn't hit his head as it could have made his situation worse.

"I've never had a fainting spell before... It honestly happened in a matter of seconds," Woods said on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast Wednesday.

The last thing Woods could remember before fainting was that he told fellow contestant Rodney Mathews: "I feel dizzy. I think I'm going to pass out." When he woke up, he tried to get up until he realized his ankle was "destroyed."

He recalled looking at his ankle and saying, "it looked like almost if you had wedged a football into my ankle." Woods was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance but due to his height, he didn't fit in properly.

"I'm 6'3" and I literally had a third of my body hanging over," he explained. "They had a sweet EMT holding my ankle and we had 30 minutes of unpaved roads. My leg is just going up and down. If it wasn't so painful it would've been the funniest thing you've seen in a Zach Galifianakis movie or something."

Woods, who was in Mexico filming the show, had three broken bones in his ankle.

"I had three weeks before I could even get surgery because the swelling was so bad," he said. "[For] a little over a month, [for] 23 hours a day [I was] in bed, leg up, couldn't do anything. Thankfully, my loving parents took me in and took care of me in that time and I couldn't be more grateful."

After undergoing surgery, Woods was expecting the news that he "can start walking on a cane again." Unfortunately, that wasn't the case as one of his bones "has shifted just a little bit" and he might require another surgery.

Now, even after four months, Woods still can't walk and uses a knee scooter.

"The knee scooter is the accessory of the summer, now scooting into fall. Everyone's loving it," he said. "Quite an unexpected turn of events and just really sad."

"But at the same time, thank God I didn't hit my head on anything," he added. "When it comes to fainting you don't know what's going to happen."

Woods appeared on "The Bachelorette" Season 18 last year but was eliminated in the fifth week. He then joined "Bachelor in Paradise" Season 8 and had to step out of the show after the second week due to his ankle injury.
