“The Bachelorette” Season 14 is getting down to the wire, and just ahead of the fantasy suite dates, it is rumored that star Becca Kufrin will experience major heartbreak in episode 8.

After choosing Colton as one of her final four, moving him onto hometown dates, it is said the ABC contestant will exit “The Bachelorette” competition during episode 8. The reason? An emotional appearance from his ex.

During next Monday’s episode 7, viewers will watch as Colton tours Becca around Aurora, Colorado, where his parents currently reside. Reality Steve reports their date will include some shopping at a local marketplace.

While it is unclear how the rest of their day together goes, the spoiler blogger has stated that at some point during the episode, his ex will appear and make Becca question the relationship.

Viewers will remember that Colton opened up about his romance with former “Bachelor” contestant and Becca’s off-screen friend Tia Booth in an earlier episode this season. Tia went on to make an appearance during a group date, which Colton attended. During the outing, both parties admitted to being past the romance, but it appears that might not actually be the case.

“Before this rose ceremony, Tia appeared back on the show to tell Becca she still had feelings for Colton,” reported Reality Steve. “Not sure how Becca took it, but considering Colton was eliminated at this rose ceremony, I gotta imagine it played some sort of role.”

While it has already been spoiled that Becca does not end up engaged to Colton (you can find out who her winner is here), it doesn’t appear this is the last ABC viewers will see of the Colton-Tia love story.

The blogger reports that Colton is part of the upcoming “Bachelor in Paradise” season cast alongside Tia. Photos from an outing show the pair have gone on at least one date together during filming.

While Tia and Colton have not spoken out about their seemingly rekindled romance, Tia did open up about their relationship while speaking to People in June.

Tia explained that prior to her season of “The Bachelor” airing, they connected on Instagram. During that time Tia said that Colton had made it clear he applied to be on “The Bachelorette.” A few weeks after meeting up for a date, Colton learned he had been picked for the show and they parted ways. Tia said they were never exclusively a couple.

“I knew he needed to do what he needed to do,” Tia told the magazine. “I completely respect him. If it had been different timing, it could have been something. But everything happens for a reason!”
