Barcelona manager Quique Setién just gave another chance at the possibility of Neymar returning at Camp Nou and addressed the club’s future plans.

Aside from Lautaro Martinez, the other star heavily linked with Barcelona is Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar. Though the Catalan club has been reportedly dealing with adversities in finalizing a deal for either Martinez or Neymar, it has been widely known in La Liga that they are keen on making certain adjustments to land one of them.

In a recent interview with BeIn Sports USA (via Besoccer.com), Barca manager Setién addressed a few important things about the club’s current situation. According to Setién, th e club remains firm candidates to win the Champions League and it has been one of their biggest focuses in the near future.

"We're convinced we want to win the Champions League and we certainly can. I think it's generated a great debate. We are convinced that we can win the Champions League. There are some things that need to be improved, but we are definitely convinced that the team has the potential to win the Champions League,” Setién insisted.

“El Maestro” also didn't hold back and spoke openly about the possible addition of Neymar to Barcelona this summer. Setién admitted that he’s thrilled with the idea of having Neymar back to the team, suggesting a productive relationship between him and the former Barca star.

"I would be very happy to manage Neymar, absolutely. He's an exceptional player, nobody can doubt that," Setién said.

Despite Setién's openness for a Neymar comeback at Camp Nou, the possible reunion remains a bit blurry at this point. Neymar’s agent Wagner Ribeiro recently addressed the issue and assumed that economic changes in the sport caused by the coronavirus pandemic will be the biggest hurdle for both parties.

“I think Neymar will stay at PSG because the market is difficult. The economic world of football will change,” Ribeiro said in a recent interview, per Daily Star.

Meanwhile, another player is reportedly keen on reuniting with Messi soon. Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico, who is also Messi’s Argentina side teammate, has expressed his definitive desire to part ways with his current club. Tagliafico’s intension to leave Ajax did not go unnoticed as Barcelona along with Arsenal are now reportedly interested in signing him.

Ahead of leaving Ajax, Tagliafico ’s agent already revealed that his client is looking forward to play with his Argentina co-star Messi.
