Basketball Wives
On “Basketball Wives” Season 6 Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman may call a truce in their ongoing war. VH1

Although they seem to have been at war since ending their friendship years ago, in the latest “Basketball Wives” Season 6 trailer it looks like Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman may actually be on speaking terms.

In the extended trailer that aired Monday night, the two initially seemed to still be at odds with one another at the beginning of the video. Tami is still upset that Evelyn slept with her ex-husband, Kenny Anderson, while she was still married to him. However, Evelyn insists that she had no idea that he was married when they dated.

Later on in the trailer, presumably, later on in the season, it seems like the two have grown closer. Cast member Jackie Christie notes that there is a divide in the group with the ladies from Miami, Tami, Evelyn and Shaunie O’Neal, sticking together and shutting out Los Angeles cast members.

In one part of the video, the three can be seen standing outside together as Brandi Maxiell, a Los Angeles cast member, confronts them for ignoring her, something they continue to do despite her yelling in their faces.

Later on in the trailer, Shaunie, Tami and Evelyn can be seen sitting down enjoying drinks when Tami makes a joke and they all laugh as if they are enjoying their time together.

It is possible that Tami and Evelyn could have come together because they are both friends with Shaunie and typically does what she requests of them due to their long-standing friendship. In the beginning of the trailer, it is clear that Shaunie wants her two friends to make up and move on from the past.

It is also important to note that in the promo Evelyn discusses with Shaunie her struggle to conceive another child, something Tami has also had problems with.

Could this obstacle bring the women closer together or was it something else that made the ladies see things differently after years of fighting? Either way, fans won’t have to wait long for an answer.

“Basketball Wives” Season 6 premieres Monday, April 17, at 9 p.m. EDT on VH1.
