Back in May, Electronic Arts Inc. Studio announced Battlefield 1. Battlefield 1 takes you across multiple locations so you can fight your way through immersive battles. In a true multiplayer experience, engage in high-octane dogfights through treacherous landscapes, or engage in some of the biggest battles ever seen as empires clash for supremacy.

“The game will deliver a fresh experience full of what makes Battlefield great, with a multiplayer sandbox, immersion, epic scale, authenticity, team play and an ever-changing world full of unexpected Battlefield moments,“ said Aleksander Grøndal, Senior Producer, DICE. “We’re inviting players on an epic journey across a war-torn world, taking them to the Great War and providing something both varied and unique in Battlefield 1.”

Battlefield 1 will launch on October 21, 2016, Worldwide on Xbox One, Origin for PC and PlayStation 4.

At the E3 press conference, Electronic Arts showed a new trailer for first-person shooter Battlefield 1. The new footage showed a variety of combat scenarios involving blimps, biplanes, motorcycles, horses and tanks. It also showed some of the unpredictable weather, which will later how a multiplayer level is played.

Battlefield 1 Play First Trial - EA and Origin Access members can start playing Battlefield 1 on Xbox One or PC right now

If you’re an EA or Origin Access member, you can start playing Battlefield 1 on Xbox One or PC right now. You will have access to five different maps and four modes, including St. Quentin Scar, Amiens, Sinai Desert, Fao Fortress and Suez in the Conquest, Rush, Operations, and, Domination modes. You’ll also get a taste of the single-player campaign, which features the missions “Storm of Steal” and “Through Mud and Blood.” If you decide to buy the full game after your Play First Trial ends, your progress will carry over, too. EA Access and Origin Access members can also unlock content by playing between October 13 and October 20. You’ll get an exclusive Trench Raider Dog Tag just for launch the game with the Play First Trial. If you play all ten hours before October 20, you’ll also have a Battlepack waiting for you in the full game.

Battlefield 1 - Ultimate Edition

Battlefield 1 Ultimate Edition gives you all of the extras in both the Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition and the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass. You’ll get four themed expansion packs, 14 battle packs, new maps and elite classes. If you pre-order Battlefield 1, you get even more, including the Hellfighter Pack, which contains themed items inspired by Harlem Hellfighter and a one-week advance on the new map Battlefield 1 Giant’s Shadow, coming in December. Battlefield 1 Ultimate Edition costs $129.99. If you’re an EA Access member, you’ll get $13 off the original price, so you’ll only have to pay $116.99.
