Stevens was asked by a fan during a Facebook Live Q&A about the Beast’s past. “That’s an interesting question, isn’t it?” Stevens answered, according to the Evening Standard. “I suppose we see a little bit of his backstory. We learn a little bit more about this vain, spoiled, rich kid, son of a billionaire who treats women like objects and lives in a luxury tower.”

Even though he did not mention the name of America’s president-elect Donald Trump, the business magnate was on everybody’s mind when Stevens made the description. Watson seemed to think Stevens’ comparison was hilarious, because she cannot help but giggle to this.

As for Belle, Watson told told Entertainment Weekly that her character was given an inventor’s flair in the new film.

“In the animated movie, it’s her father who is the inventor, and we actually co-opted that for Belle. I was like, ‘Well, there was never very much information or detail at the beginning of the story as to why Belle didn’t fit in, other than she liked books,” she explained. “Also what is she doing with her time? So, we created a backstory for her, which was that she had invented a kind of washing machine, so that, instead of doing laundry, she could sit and use that time to read instead. So, yeah, we made Belle an inventor.”

The latest trailer for the film actually broke the record for most views within 24 hours, according to Variety. It garnered 127.6 million views since it was first shared, therefore toppling “Fifty Shades Darker” with 114 million views and “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” with 112 million views.
