Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have called it quits after dating for almost a year, a report says. They reportedly couldn't agree on whether or not to have a family together.

Affleck, 48, and de Armas, 32, had been dating for months but broke up shortly before their first anniversary as a couple. An unnamed source confirmed their split to Page Six Monday, saying the two stars were in "different places" in their lives.

Another unnamed insider told the outlet that the reason for Affleck and de Armas' breakup was his refusal to start a new family together.

"He would not commit to having more kids," the source told Page Six. "She is in her 30s. It was a deal-breaker."

Another source close to the former couple said that the "Justice League" star has no intention of starting a new family because his priority is his family with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. The exes share three kids together — Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8.

Further, the source said Affleck and de Armas are busy with their careers, with both of them having several projects lined up. "Ben is not in a place to start a new family. Both he and Ana have three jobs lined up. His family has, and will continue, to be his focus," the insider told the outlet.

But some of their friends reportedly believe that although the decision to part ways was mutual, Affleck and de Armas may not be over for good.

"They could get back together. They are in love. People who know them believe it’s temporary," the insider said.

Affleck and de Armas met while filming the psychological thriller "Deep Water" in New Orleans in 2019. In March last year, they were seen enjoying a romantic getaway in the actress' hometown of Havana, Cuba, and had since been inseparable. They spent the lockdown together and were photographed walking their dogs and having coffee in Los Angeles.

According to reports, the "Batman v Superman" star's relationship with the "Knives Out" actress was getting serious prior to their split, and he has already introduced her to his kids. In November, Affleck and de Armas were seen shopping with two of his children, Seraphina and Samuel.

"It looked like birthday supplies," an eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight about the outing. "Ana was very social with the kids. They also took a family selfie together.”

In August 2020, de Armas was seen moving her things into Affleck's Los Angeles residence from her Venice, California, home. The "No Time to Die" actress was "very excited" about living with her then-boyfriend, according to an insider.
