Ben Affleck is denying a story about him reaching out to "Selling Sunset" star Emma Hernan on a dating app.

The 49-year-old actor said he has not had an online dating profile on Raya in years after Hernan claimed on a new episode of the Netflix real estate reality show that she previously matched with Affleck on the high-profile dating app.

"Raya has confirmed that he has not been an active member for several years," a rep for Affleck told People Friday.

Affleck released the statement after "Selling Sunset" Season 5 premiered Friday. In episode 5, Hernan and co-star Chrishell Stause discussed the former's dating life and the app Raya while touring a property in Hollywood.

"Remember when Ben Affleck went viral because he sent some girl..." Stause, 40, said before Hernan claimed that she was one of the women Affleck reached out to on the dating app.

"He may or may not have been texting me," Hernan claimed to Stause. "He may or may not have asked to grab coffee a few times. I didn't go."

The real estate agent went on to claim that Affleck's opening pickup line was about their shared home state of Massachusetts. "We have the Boston connection," Hernan said. "It was very sweet."

Hernan also said in the episode that the alleged interaction happened before Affleck rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez in April 2021.

A rep for Hernan later told People that the "Selling Sunset" star was referencing an interaction that occurred in 2019.

Last year, Affleck went viral after TikTok user Nivine Jay leaked a video the actor sent her after they matched on the celebrity dating app.

Jay claimed that she and the "Justice League" star matched on Raya, but she unmatched him, thinking it was a fake account. Affleck apparently then reached out to her on Instagram to prove that his Raya account was real.

"Thinking of the time I matched with Ben Affleck on Raya and thought it was fake so I unmatched him and he sent me a video on Instagram," Jay posted on TikTok.

"Nivine, why did you unmatch me? It's me," Affleck said in the clip.

Affleck is now engaged to Lopez for the second time after they reconnected last year. They first got engaged in November 2002, but they called it off in January 2004.

However, an unnamed source recently told People that they haven't talked about the wedding details yet.

Affleck and Lopez were "both thrilled about the engagement" and "wanted to make sure this is it," according to the insider.
