"Bachelor" alum Lauren Bushnell has learned her lesson when it comes to relationships.

Former "Bachelor" couple Higgins and Bushnell called off their engagement in May and have since moved on from each other. Bushnell, who is now dating Devin Antin, recently revealed that she's not in any rush to get engaged again.

On Tuesday, Bushnell participated in a Q&A and shared her fresh perspective about relationships and marriage. "I do see a future with [Antin] but I want to be 1,000 percent sure before I get engaged and even more sure before I get married," Bushnell said (via E! News). "And for me, that takes time. I've learned a lot of things in the last couple years and this is a big one. Marriage is such a special and sacred thing that should never be rushed."

Back in July, a source confirmed that Bushnell and Antin are dating, and according to the insider, it "happened fast." When the ABC star returned to Los Angeles after her split from Higgins, she started spending more time with Antin. The pair initially just hung out as friends, but their friendship eventually turned into something more.

Bushnell made her relationship with Antin Instagram official in August when she shared a snap of them on her account. In another photo, the lovers can be seen cuddling and kissing each other.

As for Higgins and Bushnell's breakup, "Bachelor" host Chris Harrison confessed that he was aware that the pair struggled with their relationship, but he didn't see the split coming. "I know they were fighting through a bunch of stuff," Harrison said, referencing to the exes' "Bachelor" spinoff "Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After." "Apparently I did not see that coming. I love them both. They are really two of my favorite people we’ve ever had on the show and Ben is a really good friend."

According to another source, the last straw for Higgins was Bushnell's partying habit. Higgins was reportedly upset when she attended the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, California. "Lauren went with some friends and did some things that made Ben upset," a source confessed. "It got way too out of hand and Ben got upset at how much time she was spending with friends, and not him."
