The packed house was welcomed by BFF co-founders Trevor Drinkwater and Geena Davis who spoke about the festival’s mission to champion women and diverse voices in media. The stage was then turned over to moderator and "Vulture" star Stacey Wilson Hunt, who spoke at length with panelists Jessica Williams of "The Incredible Jessica James," Jill Soloway of "I Love Dick" and Michaela Watkins of "Brigsby Bear" about the gender and diversity disparity in front of and behind the camera.
