Recently, Walmart offered T-Mobile’s Lumia 435 at a discounted price. Now, Best Buy has jumped on the bandwagon, giving Virgin Mobile’s Nokia Lumia 635 a massive price cut. Virgin Mobile’s Nokia Lumia 635 will sell for only $39.99, without a contract, at Best Buy stores. (The original price was $99.99.)

Both the 1 GB and 512 MB RAM versions of the device are available for the same discounted price. Both versions support 4G LTE connectivity. Potential buyers can click the following links of Best Buy to access the discount: Lumia 635 with 1 GB RAM and Lumia 635 with 512 MB RAM.

Meanwhile, interested readers can check out the Nokia Lumia 635 specifications prior to buying the handset: The device features a pocket-friendly 4.5-inch display, packed with 480 x 854 pixels screen resolution. This combination translates to a pixel density of a modest 221 ppi. Even though the pixel density is not over-the-top, the device comes with a good quality panel for a wallet-friendly handset, notes Phone Arena.

Speaking of hardware components, the Lumia 635 is powered by a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 400) ARM Cortex-A7 processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz. As mentioned earlier, two variants of the handset can be availed i.e. with 512 MB of RAM and 1 GB of RAM. In any case, readers should note that the 512 MB version will be shipped to the buyer, upon placing an online order. However, in the case of the 1 GB version, buyers have to visit the nearby Best Buy store to pick up the order.

When it comes to camera configuration, the Lumia 635 sports a 5 MP primary unit, however, there’s no secondary unit in the device. Other key features include a microSD card slot, Windows Phone 8.1 OS and 1,830 mAh battery unit. But Microsoft will update the Lumia 635 to Windows 10 Mobile when the operating system gets launched, says Phone Arena.
