What do David Beckham and Kate Middleton have in common? Aside from being famous and having a beautiful family, both are seen as having great smiles.

Wrigley’s Extra White Bubblemint’s poll asked 2,000 people to list the top three people with the best smiles. According to the Mirror, Beckham and the Duchess of Cambridge topped the list. The former soccer star topped the male list, nudging George Clooney from the top spot. Kate won the women's top spot for the second year in a row.

In last year’s competition, Beckham had to share the top spot with Clooney. This year Brad Pitt was No. 4, former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan was No. 5, current agent 007 Daniel Craig was No. 7 and Prince William was No. 8.

On the women's side, Holly Willoughby was No. 2, actress Julia Roberts was No. 4, Angelina Jolie was No. 6, Emma Watson No. 7 and Jennifer Aniston No. 8.

Topping the best smile male category is just another accolade for Beckham. The father of four celebrated his 40th birthday last month by joining Instagram, as reported by E!News, and now has more than 6 million followers.

Since then, Beckham has been keeping his fans updated with his every move. The latest is a picture of himself sipping a glass of water while enjoying his view of Spain from a balcony, states the Express. He captioned the photo: "Hanging out in Madrid. ... So happy to be back in Spain." Beckham also visited the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, considered his second home during the five years he played for Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton’s maternity leave has ended. Kate will resume her royal duties and attend public engagements this month, just in time for Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday parade. Kate and William's second child, Princess Charlotte, recently turned one month old.
