Prior to her trip to Princeton, Sheldon gave Amy several reminders. And in order to commemorate their last night together for the next couple of months, the two engaged in sex. While they were being intimate in their apartment, Raj (Kunal Nayyar), Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) were having a conversation just across the hallway. The trio was talking about Raj’s decision to move out, but Penny couldn’t concentrate because she heard Amy and Sheldon making out. In the end, Amy managed to leave Sheldon and their friends to pursue one of her biggest dreams.

But in episode 24, someone from Sheldon’s past will resurface while Amy is away. There are speculations that Sheldon may entertain his former admirer to fill up the void of Amy’s absence. Or most likely, Sheldon will just stick to the pact he made with Amy before she left that they will try to make things worse despite the distance.

Elsewhere in the episode, Raj decided to move in with Bert (Brian Posehn) because Penny and Leonard have been indirectly urging him to find his own place. Raj recently transferred into Penny and Leonard’s apartment after his dad stopped giving him a monthly allowance. Raj also wanted to learn how to live an independent life so he vouched to stand on his own two feet. Raj’s move to Bert’s home wasn’t shown in episode 23, but it’s possible that this will be featured in next week’s finale episode.

Meanwhile, Sheldon, Leonard and Howard’s (Simon Helberg) hard work in building a top-secret gyroscope for the government turned into dust. After finishing phase 1 of the project, they were told that their services were no longer needed for phase 2. When they arrived at the office, Sheldon, Leonard and Howard also found out that all of their computers and other things used for the experiment were already taken away from the government.

This resulted in Howard feeling extremely stressed over the situation. His wife, Bernadette (Melissa Rauch), reminded him of what happens whenever he’s faced with a huge struggle. As it turns out, Howard tends to become extremely clingy when he’s worried about something. He fired back at Bernadette by saying that she enrolled the two of them in ballroom a couple of months back. In the end, the couple showed support for each other and proved how much they love each other by cuddling in bed.

“Big Bang Theory” Season 10 airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
