Billie Eilish had a blast when she performed at Coachella 2022 over the weekend, but the young artist ended her set with an apology.

On Saturday, Eilish, 20, made history as the youngest artist to ever headline the annual music festival held in Indio, California. After her performance, she gave a shoutout to Beyoncé, who headlined the event in 2018.

"Thank you, Coachella! I’m sorry I’m not Beyoncé," Eilish was quoted as saying by Page Six. "I love you, goodnight."

The 40-year-old Grammy winner headlined the festival four years ago where she reunited with Destiny's Child on stage. Beyoncé's set also featured dance numbers from Les Twins and cameos from her husband Jay-Z, sister Solange Knowles and more.

For her performance Saturday, Eilish took the stage wearing a baggy tee with a graffiti print and matching cycling shorts by designer Conrad, along with wrist warmers and stacks of chunky silver necklaces, according to Vogue. She styled her black hair in pigtails.

Towards the end of her set, Eilish expressed her disbelief over becoming one of the few artists to have been chosen to headline the music event.

"This is so weird," she told the crowd, according to CNN. "I should not be headlining this s--t."

She continued, "But I'm so f--king grateful that I'm here, and that you guys are all here. This is such a dream come true. I feel crazy."

At one point, the "Bad Guy" hitmaker reminded the audience of her "three rules for the night," which included not judging others, not being an "a--hole" and "having fun, b--ch." Eilish said she wanted everyone to be comfortable and confident the whole night.

"You're not allowed to judge anybody out here," she said. "I want us all to feel loose and good and comfortable in our skin, and like, free, and happy."

Eilish brought a couple of surprise guests on stage during her set, including Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn and her "Lovely" collaborator, Khalid. She also gave a special shoutout to Albarn for his influence on her life and career before they sang Gorillaz's hit "Feel Good Inc."

"This is the craziest s–t I've ever experienced. [Damon] changed my life in a lot of ways, and changed my view of what music and art and creation could be," Eilish said.
