The family of Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds are planning a public memorial for the two actresses who and Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, is spearheading the service.

According to TMZ, along with the public memorial, a private service and burial will be held on Thursday. The service will be held at Forest Lawn in Burbank, California, where Fisher will be buried side by side with her mother.

The private service will feature no eulogies from celebrities, but if Lourd feels up to speaking, she will. While the private service will have no star speeches, it is reported that the family has reached out to Meryl Streep to speak at the public memorial.

The website reports that Streep is not a “firm lock” for the memorial, but the family expects her to speak. Streep was a friend of Fisher and portrayed a character based on her in the film “Postcards from the Edge.” The family has also reached out to “Star Wars” stars Mark Hamill and George Lucas.

As for Lourd, the 24-year-old actress recently broke her silence on the death of her mother and grandmother. On Monday, Lourd took to Instagram and posted a photo of herself, Fisher and Reynolds, along with a message for her fans.

“Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist,” Lourd wrote. “There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.”

Fisher, most famous for her role as Princess Leia and later General Organa in the “Star Wars” franchise, passed away on Dec. 27, four days after going into cardiac arrest on an airplane. Reynolds passed away one day later at the age of 84 after suffering a stroke.
