‘Black Clover’ Chapter 272 Postponed; New Release Date, Spoilers And More

The Vice-Captain of Black Bulls, Nacht, and Asta continue their battle after the latter enters an equal contract with the Anti Magic Devil. However, fans will have to wait for the next chapter of "Black Clover" as Chapter 272 is postponed.

After the release of the last chapter, the manga remains on a one-week break. According to Manga Plus, "Black Clover" Chapter 272 is scheduled to release Friday, Nov. 20, which is an early release for Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 51. Also, "My Hero Academia" Chapter 292 is likely to get an early release.

"Black Clover" Chapter 271 Recap

The chapter starts with Nacht using Devil Union Mode -- Canis to fuse with his devils. He tells Asta that the only way to get stronger is to unite with Liebe and use all of his Anti-Magic powers.

Asta and Liebe fuse and the latter’s tiny form is revealed. Liebe states that the reason behind his new form is because he gave his powers to Asta.

Nacht explains that in a Devil-binding contract, the initiative belongs to the one giving orders and that is why he can use Union spell easily. However, he adds that Asta’s current situation is not Union and the devil’s power is only trickling into him.

Both Asta and Liebe are clueless about how to harness the devil’s real power. Turns out, they will learn as they fight Nacht and his devils.

Nacht shows that using Devil Union allows him to add the characteristics of his devils to Shadow Magic. The Vice-Captain goes on to unleash Gidemolo’s characteristic – Pack. As soon as he unleashes the spell, Asta is attacked by a pack of wolves-like shadows. Asta fights backs and notes that the shadows have the same Ki as Nacht.

To make matters worse, the shadows won’t disappear until he defeats Nacht. Asta knows that Nacht has blended himself with the shadows making it hard to locate the opponent.

Nacht reminds Asta that it is going to be insanely hard for him to use all of the Anti-Magic power of Liebe because of the equal contract. However, Asta is confident to overcome this obstacle and surpass his own limits. Toward the end of "Black Clover" Chapter 271, Asta draws a new weapon and calls it the Demon-Slasher Katana.
