Asta's anti-magic is key to defeating the devil and Asta is training hard to better his technique. "Black Clover" Episode 157 revolves around Asta revealing how he obtained the five-leaf grimoire.

In the upcoming episode, titled "Five-Leaf Clover," Gaja wants to help Asta improve his anti-magic before the great war against the Spade Kingdom.

"Despite having no magic power, Asta has developed his powers at an astonishing rate while training with the Spirit Guardians during the past few months in the Heart Kingdom. Asta controls a mysterious power called anti-magic, which will be absolutely necessary to defeat the devils. In order to further help Asta with his training, Gaja asks Asta to say a few things about himself and how he came to obtain a five-leaf grimoire," the synopsis for "Black Clover" Episode 157 read, as tweeted by Nitebaron.

The official "Black Clover" Twitter account released a new visual for the upcoming Spade Kingdom arc.

Moreover, the Spade Kingdom arc welcomes new cast members. It is also getting new opening and ending themes, Crunchyroll reported.

Spade Kingdom arc introduces Yui Ogura as Vanica Zogratis, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Zenon Zogratis and Dante Zogratis as Rikiya Koyama. The new opening theme, titled "Grandeur," is composed by Snow Man and the ending theme "BEAUTIFUL." is by TREASURE.

In the last episode, Gaja trains Asta in the Heart Kingdom. Asta struggles to defeat Gaja despite using anti-magic. Gaja notes that the young Black Bulls member has the resolve to get better.

Meanwhile, back in Clover Kingdom, Captain Yami gets inspired after learning that the Black Bulls members are training with the Spirit Guardians. He decides to seek Mereoleona's help in learning the right way to use Mana Zone.

After training, both Yami and Mereoleona are able to develop new techniques. In Heart Kingdom, the Spirit Guardians meet with Queen Lolopechka and inform her about the ongoing training of the Magic Knights.
