A man claims he died because of God’s mistake and now he is reincarnated in another world in "Black Summoner" Episode 1.

The official website has released the spoiler stills and synopsis of the first episode. The man, in this another world, is called Kelvin and he is blessed with powers in exchange for his past memories.

He is summoned by a goddess who tells him he is a now Summoner in this world and it is a rare occupation.

The goddess, named Melfina, can control reincarnation. And, Kelvin starts a new life as a Summoner with Melfina.

Kelvin will make new friends and go on several adventures while fighting the evil forces of the fantastical world.

“When Kelvin wakes up, he finds himself in an unfamiliar place with no memory of his previous life. It turns out that he had been reincarnated into another world but had exchanged his past memories for powerful skills. Now a Summoner, he heads out on a journey with the goddess who had brought him over to the new world, who is also his very first follower,” read the official synopsis of "Black Summoner" anime, as per Crunchyroll.

The cast of the anime includes Kouki Uchiyama as Kelvin, Manaka Iwami as Efil, Reina Ueda as Melfina, Yume Miyamoto as Rion, Yousuke Akimoto as Geral, Randhi as Clotho, Minori Suzuki as Sera, and Konomi Inagaki as Ange.

The opening theme song is titled "Ataman Chū Dead End" and is performed by RetBear and the ending theme is "Wherever" by Minori Suzuki.

The series is directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike, who is also handling the series composition. The anime is based on original work by Doufo Mayoi, Gin Ammo, DAI-XT and Kurogin.

The music is composed by MICHIRU and Yuria Miyazono. Miwa Oshima is credited for character designing and the art setting is taken care of by Kenji Kato.

The sound direction is by Satoshi Motoyama and the editing is by Shuji Matsumoto.

"Black Summoner" Episode 1 is scheduled to air Saturday. Fans can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. The installment will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.

The anime is titled Kuro no Shōkanshi in Japanese.
