Blackpink’s Jisoo Turns Heads At Dior’s Paris Fashion Week 2022 Show

Dior global ambassador and Blackpink singer Jisoo was greeted by excited fans upon her arrival at the gardens of the Musée Rodin for the Dior runway show at the Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old K-pop idol channeled “Clueless” character Cher Horowitz with her yellow plaid mini dress and stylish black heels which she paired with a chic gray blazer and perfectly straight hair.

Jisoo’s supporters trooped to the venue after Dior’s official Twitter page posted an update announcing the return of the “Snowdrop” actress to the fashion label’s show.

Dior tweeted, “Guess who's coming to today's show? Yes, you read that right, it's global brand ambassador JISOO! Follow her lead and discover the #DiorAW22 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri live from Paris."

One lucky fan caught a glimpse of the K-pop idol who got squeezed between photographers and supporters outside the runway show’s venue.

“What are they talking about?” the fan captioned their tweet.

Another fan tweeted a happy photo of Jisoo and wrote, “Seeing how high profiles, CEO's, VIP's, Media and the crowd flocked to Jisoo is a heartwarming and proudest moment as a fan of her. My baby really did [lamented] her name in the world of fashion. She is legendary, a History. She's Kim Jisoo.”

Another follower hyped Jisoo’s ability to draw crowds and tweeted, “mhm, she’s (own the show). Jisoo, the main event.”

As part of her global ambassador duties, the “How You Like That” singer sat at the front row of Dior’s show in September 2021 and wore a white dress which is a part of the Dior Cruise 2022 collection. She also visited the French fashion brand’s atelier while in Paris.

In a video dairy uploaded in October 2021 by Dior, Jisoo talked about what she liked the most about Dior’s spring/summer collection.

“The bright colors and graphic elements made this year’s fashion show even more dynamic,” she said. “When I see the set with the models dressed in all these colors, I feel like I’m in a video game. There were so many beautiful outfits. I loved them all! If I had to pick just one, the dress with the ribbon at the chest that I saw would be my favorite,” she added.

The end of the video saw Jisoo enjoying a night cruise at the Seine river. Tracing the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower, she said, “The trip to Paris with Dior was so enjoyable for me, and I will never forget that night. I love you Paris.”
