Blake Lively and rumored new boyfriend Ryan Reynolds have taken their romance to Boston.

The new couple spent the weekend together to celebrate Reynolds' 35th birthday, People reports.

Lively, 24, also visited Reynolds on the Boston set of his new film, R.I.P.D.

On Saturday, the Gossip Girl star personally delivered a mystery package to the set, while on Sunday, Lively arrived with a special guest, her maltipoo puppy Penny.

Wrapped in dozens of colorful balloons, Penny greeted the birthday boy as Lively peeked out of a nearby trailer, grinning from ear to ear.

They are very much a couple . . . they are really happy together, a source told People.

Since September, Reynolds has been on location in Boston, filming with Kevin Bacon for R.I.P.D., an action-comedy based on the comic book Rest in Peace Departemnt by Peter M. Lenkov. The Robert Schwentke-directed film, produced by Dark Horse, has a June 2013 release date.

Lively and Reynolds first met on the set of another comic book adaptation, The Green Lantern, which was filmed in the summer of 2010 and was released in June.

Their onscreen romance transferred off-screen shortly after Lively split from Leonardo DiCaprio in early October. Lively and DiCaprio dated for five months.

In July, Reynolds finalized his divorce from his wife of nearly three years, actress Scarlett Johansson. The pair were spotted together at a Radiohead concert in New York City in September, but shot down rumors of reconciliation.
