After the phenomenal success of “God’s Country,” Blake Shelton is preparing to release an acoustic version of the song online. The country singer made the announcement on social media along with a teaser video.

“Tomorrow,” Shelton captioned a post on Instagram teasing the acoustic version of “God’s Country.” The teaser includes scenes from the official music video of the song.

Shelton had previously shared a still from the music video that appears to be the cover of the acoustic version of the album. The country singer also shared a link that the fans can save to listen to the song when it is released on Friday.

The song will be available on popular online music platforms like Apple Music, Amazon music, Spotify, YouTube, iTunes Store, and Google Play. Commenting on the post, many of Shelton’s fans agree that this new song is one of his best so far.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Shelton recalled how excited he was about “God’s Country.” The singer said that he wanted to record the song after listening to just one verse and the chorus. He added that he can’t say enough about the “power” of the song.

“I feel the song fills a gap not being served [musically] in country right now,” Shelton said. The singer is happy to be a part of the song, and he is also “thrilled” that he fans are connecting to the song the same way that he did when he first heard it.

“God’s Country” has been ruling the charts for country music ever since it was released. The song got 40.2 million audience impressions by the end of the week on July 7, according to Nielsen Music. The popularity of the song has also propelled Shelton up the rank in the charts for country singers.

Shelton has released the official music video of “God’s Country” on YouTube. The song talks about life in the countryside, and the video includes scenes of the Dust Bowl.
