‘Blindspot’
Will Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) be successful with their undercover task in “Blindspot” Season 3? NBC

“Blindspot” Season 3 will see Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Tasha Zapata (Audrey Esparza) going undercover in one episode.

While speaking with TV Line, Alexander said, “There will be something where she and I go undercover together, which is going to be very fun – and we will not look like ourselves, let’s put it that way.”

Ahead of Friday’s premiere, NBC also dropped an international trailer for the hit series featuring the cast of “Blindspot” filming in some parts of the world other than the country. In the first teaser for Season 3, Jane Doe and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) will travel to Venice. While there, Roman (Luke Mitchell) will track them down.

In the clip, Stapleton said, “We’re not just chasing criminals in New York. It’s a whole ‘nother chapter. Executive producer Martin Gero confirmed that some scenes from Season 3 were filmed in five different continents, namely, Barcelona, Spain, Sydney, Australia, Marrakesh, Morocco and more.

“There’s just something so wonderful about showcasing an amazing city,” Alexander said.

Since there will be a lot of scenes from the upcoming episodes that will take place in other countries, it’s also possible that Jane and Zapata’s undercover task will take place in other continent. Unfortunately, Alexander did not share what episode will their undercover mission be featured.

Meanwhile, Nas (Archie Panjabi) will still play a crucial role in “Blindspot” Season 3. An upcoming episode will reveal whether or not she was able to get intel from Shepherd (Michelle Hurd), according Gero.

Just like Nas, Jane’s digitalized tattoos will also be heaving featured in Season 3. Not only will the lead character’s tattoos have some interesting stories to tell, they have also been developed to adapt to various technologies.

Last month, Gero said that a lot of fans think that Roman is the one responsible for lighting up Jane’s tattoos, but there’s a bigger mystery surrounding them. “He’s our main bad guy, and first and foremost, he’s really hurt. Jane is the closest person to him in the world, and she chose Weller and the FBI over him. He’s been hurting about that,” he told TV Line.

“Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC on Friday at 8 p.m. EDT.
