“Blindspot” Season 3 recently cast Tori Anderson in a recurring role in the hit NBC TV series.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the “No Tomorrow” actress will play the role of Blake, a charming socialite that Roman (Luke Mitchell) will strike up a friendship with. Blake may also be a potential love interest for Jane Doe’s (Jaimie Alexander) brother, but it’s unclear whether or not their relationship would last. After all, Roman may have other motives in trying to get to know Blake.

Talking about Blake and Roman’s connection, “Blindspot” executive producer Martin Gero explained, “Blake is an incredibly smart and charming business woman and sparks fly when she meets Roman for the first time.”

In June, Gero confirmed that Roman will be the big bad for Season 3. “It ended pretty badly with Jane and Roman. There is no love lost. He feels very betrayed that she has essentially left him for the second time, choose someone else, so he’s pretty angry. But I think their relationship next year is super fascinating – and it’s been one of the highlights for me for Season 2. We’ve found a really, really interesting way to keep that going,” he told the same publication.

Meanwhile, if a new character will be introduced in “Blindspot” Season 3, there’s also one who will no longer appear in the upcoming episodes. Gero told TV Line that Michelle Hurd has not been booked to reprise her role as Shepherd in the series.

“We don’t yet have a plan to bring her back, but it’s not a closed door in any way. She’s certainly busy because she’s so amazing. We love her, and we’d love to find a way to bring her back, but there’s no plan as of yet,” he said.

Shepherd was last seen in the Season 2 finale trying to take over the U.S. government. But she was unsuccessful. In one of the scenes, Archie Panjabi’s character, Nas, interrogated her regarding her questionable deeds.

“Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. EDT.
