“Blindspot” Season 3 lead star Jaimie Alexander is back in New York.

On her Twitter account, the actress posted a photo of the New York skyline and said that she is grateful to be back in Brooklyn. The actress recently traveled to Italy with her co-star, Sullivan Stapleton, for the filming of the hit NBC series. According to TV Line, the scenes filmed in Italy will be part of the premiere episode of “Blindspot” Season 3.

Meanwhile, executive producer Martin Gero recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly and said that Kurt Weller (Stapleton) and his team will still be intact in the upcoming episodes. However, this does not mean that they will all be eager to work together. “The team will be the team again in Season 3, but they’ll have really been through a variety of experiences in those ensuing two years that brings a fresh perspective to it. But there is a little bit of needing to get the band back together at the top of Season 3,” he said.

Gero also hinted on the possibility of introducing new members to Kurt’s team. However, the series creator refused to unveil other details about the new characters.

In May, Gero told Collider that “Blindspot” Season 3 will undergo a kind of reboot to ensure that fans will get to watch what they loved most about the show in Season 1. “We’re loathe to call it a reboot, but it is a reboot. It’s a soft reboot for us. Our show runs on secrets. All of these reveals are incredibly important to the show, and we realized, very early on, even in the first season, that by the end of Season 2, we were gonna know an awful lot about the characters, in a way that having some massive reveal come out of nowhere might feel a little artificial,” he said.

Meanwhile, Gero has debunked rumors that Zapata (Audrey Esparza) will find love in Jake (Chad Donella). While speaking with Entertainment Weekly, he said, “That’s not somewhere we’re thinking of going. He’s really desperate to recruit her more than anything.”

“Blindspot” Season 3 will premiere on NBC on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. EST.
