On Thanksgiving and Christmas, some Americans may like to serve pie for dessert and pair it with whipped cream or ice cream.

One beer company appears to be seizing on that holiday treat.

Beer company Blue Moon announced a partnership Monday with famed cupcake baker Melissa Ben-Ishay to bring a new line of miniature holiday pies "Pie Pints" to go with its orange-flavored beer.

The pies are a holiday mix-up on the company's staple orange garnish. The three flavors include Spiced Citrus Pumpkin Pie, Coconut Citrus Pie, and Tropic Sky Pie.

"Blue Moon's orange wheel garnish is so iconic it would take something special for us to even consider replacing it," Leah Bowman, Associate Marketing Manager at Molson Coors Beverage Company, said in the press release.

"Our ambition is to be the brighter brewing company, so we knew we needed to create something that was both fun and unexpected as well as perfectly paired to the flavors that make our beer special," the press release added.

Ben-Ishay is the founder of Baked by Melissa, a cupcake company headquartered in New York City. She has a location in Manhattan and 14 other locations. She also ships cupcakes nationwide.

In 2017, Ben-Ishay released a cookbook, "Cakes by Melissa: Life Is What You Bake It."
