Bobbi Kristina Brown’s cousin, Jerod Brown, has been one of the most vocal family members since the 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was found unconscious in her bathtub on Jan. 31. He’s given the press intimate updates regarding his cousin’s condition and has actively addressed rumors through his personal Facebook page. But now Jerod is expressing his concerns for Bobbi Kristina’s writhing health on a new platform -- through song.

The performer, who goes by the stage name YF Kennedy, debuted his new single “#PrayForBK” on Sunday, March 15, which was accompanied by a music video. In the “inspirational piece,” Jerod sings about the love he has for Bobbi Kristina while donning different shirts in support of his cousin.

"I never thought that it would come to this, speaking on behalf of my cousin Kris. I love you, baby. She showed me true love does exist,” he raps before shedding light on Bobbi Kristina’s current state. According to Jerod's lyrics, Bobbi Kristina has “been in a coma for weeks.”

Shortly after sharing details about his cousin’s health, the singer goes on to suggest that his lips have been sealed when it comes to discussing Bobbi Kristina’s condition to the media. “Statements out but I ain’t trippin’. Never once did I mention her condition. While she still alive, I’m praying to the sky and for that, I don’t need your permission,” he sings.

That last line could be directed at the Brown family who has openly admitted through a legal team that they disapprove of the “meet and greets” Jerod has organized. Weeks following Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization, her cousin planed a candlelight vigil, inviting everyone to attend and show support for his cousin. “Who’s coming tomorrow??? #StillPrayForBK,” he wrote in a Facebook post.

"Jerod Brown aka Jerod Carter aka YF Kennedy, continues to makes statements and appear on television, however, he has not had any communication with Bobby Brown or the Houston family," Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC, legal counsel said in a statement in February. "He must be disregarded. Please do not attend any 'meet and greet' organized by Jerod Brown as he is unable to provide access to Bobbi Kristina or information on her condition. This is a criminal investigation and we do not need this side show."
