Eric (John McCook) pressures Quinn (Rena Sofer) into signing the divorce papers on the Aug. 7, 2017 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.” CBS

He has stunned her with his decision that he doesn’t want to work on their marriage and just wants a divorce after she cheated on him with his son. Now, as Quinn continues begging Eric for a second chance, he will attempt to pressure her to sign the divorce papers instead on the Monday, Aug. 7, 2017 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Quinn (Rena Sofer) wants to work on her marriage to Eric (John McCook), even though he has made it clear that he won’t be able to get past her kissing Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), especially since they both keep claiming that there was no real reason they kept doing it. As she continues trying to get him to come around, Quinn will swear to Eric that he changed her and made her the better person she has become, which is why she doesn’t want to lose him. When she does that, Eric will see his opportunity to get her to sign the papers and end their marriage once and for all.

“If you really are the woman I thought, if you really have changed, show me,” he says in a preview clip. “Let me go. Sign the divorce agreement.”

Quinn will be devastated that Eric will decide to use her words against her, and that she will need to take the action she doesn’t want in order to continue proving she is a better person these days. She will likely realize he is trying to pressure her into a quick divorce, and she will refuse to cooperate, still insisting on them trying to work things out through therapy or some other means.

After he realizes she still refuses to budge, Eric may finally snap and lose control on her, revealing just how hurt he was when he learned about what had happened between her and Ridge, and finally telling her just how it felt to him.

“I trusted you with all my heart. With my life,” he says. “And you took that away from me.”

Finally, after realizing just how much she ruined things, Quinn may decide to sign the papers, though she still won’t give up on trying to win him back.

However, she will have some major competition when it comes to her effort to getting Eric back, as she won’t be the only one of his ex-wives who will be circling him and trying to win him over again. And unfortunately for her, though she is definitely seen as the more sane person, she won’t have as much of an advantage as her competition.

Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) was the one who broke the news about Quinn and Ridge to Eric in the first place, and she has proven herself to be a valuable ally to Eric in recent weeks, staying with him and being his confidante when he was in hiding and staying away from his family. Now, after Eric returned to his home, she is more determined than ever to do what she did come back to Los Angeles for—win Eric back.

“I want to be Eric Forrester’s wife again,” she says to Charlie (Dick Christie) in the clip.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
